SPEAR Foundation Goals

SPEAR’S goals emphasize the development of public education and advocacy programs that will reduce poverty, and improve the quality of life for minorities, women, and children.  The foundation focuses on social science research and the direct correlation between the escalation of poverty, illiteracy, moral/value and family disintegration.

 

The SPEAR Foundation’s goals are to:

 

· Empower minorities and women with skills to become economically self-sufficient

 

· Develop programmed activities that focus on family preservation

 

· Develop health initiatives that increase the awareness of minorities and women

 

· Develop education initiatives that empower impoverished women to become effective advocates for themselves, their children and their community.
