Important Update Regarding
SPEAR Remittances
Effective July 25, 2026
In accordance with the bylaw changes adopted at 2026 Biennial Boulé of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. pertaining to the Sigma Public Education and Research (SPEAR) Foundation, the requirement for members to submit remittances to the SPEAR Foundation has been discontinued.
As a philanthropic partner of the Sorority, the SPEAR Foundation remains committed to advancing education, research, community service, and initiatives that positively impact the communities we serve.
While remittances are no longer required, members who wish to continue supporting the Foundation may do so voluntarily.
Contributions may be submitted through our Community Impact Campaign and will be gratefully accepted as donations to the SPEAR Foundation. These donations will provide continued support for our programs, initiatives, and sponsorships.
Remittances submitted after July 25, 2026
If you submitted a remittance July 25, 2026, you should have received an email from the SPEAR Foundation regarding the opportunity to request a refund. Please refer to that communication for additional information and next steps.
We sincerely appreciate the continued generosity and support from members of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. Although required remittances have ended, our shared commitment to service and investing in our communities continues.
